• Creating and Managing Databases
  • Start from scratch or use templates to create databases.
  • Add entries by filling out the fields for each property.
  • Customize the view by selecting different display options and filters.

Lesson 6: Properties and Filters

• Adding Properties

  • Text, number, select, multi-select, date, person, files, checkbox, URL, email, phone.
  • Use properties to categorize and organize data within databases.
  • Exercise: Add various property types to your task database and fill in some entries.

• Sorting, Filtering, and Grouping

  • Sort entries by any property (e.g., due date, priority).
  • Filter entries to display specific data (e.g., only tasks due today).
  • Group entries by property values (e.g., tasks grouped by status).
